Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork
I have been a certified massage therapist since April of 2000. I acquired my massage therapy credentials in a rigorous and thorough 1000-hour program from Seattle's Brian Utting School of Massage. I specialize in deep tissue and orthopedic (injury treatment) massage as well as Swedish, neuromuscular technique, and sports massage. I have also obtained specialized credentials in pregnancy and postpartum massage therapy from Kate Jordan Seminars, and am a certified PUSH® therapist. I am a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), and am Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB).
Hypnotherapy and HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Classes
I received my hypnotherapy training from the Institute for Therapeutic Learning in Seattle in 1998, and I received additional training in the Transformational Healing Method from the Center for Healing and Transformation in Oakland in 2005. I am certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists. I am also an Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) practitioner. I have been certified by the HypnoBirthing Institute as a HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Educator (HBCE) since 2000.
Wellness Consulting
How can you achieve total wellness without clean air and water, deep, restful sleep, an effective weight loss and fitness program, and nutritional supplements that are the highest quality available on the market today? I have been a Nikken Independent Wellness Consultant since July of 2005. For me, wellness consulting is the perfect complement to a healthy lifestyle that also includes regular massage therapy for the body and hypnotherapy for the mind. Nikken is the only company that I've found that offers a Certified Wellness Home for all aspects of the preventative health and wellness lifestyle. I have seen amazing health benefits with my clients with these products, and I love what I do! Visit the Nikken website and take a look at these amazing products for yourself!
